Planning & Development Division
There are three departments in the Planning & Development Division, the Planning Department, the Building Department and the By-Law Enforcement Department.
The Planning Department is responsible for the formulation and implementation of planning and development policies as they relate to land use in the Town of Fort Frances and the application of those policies to specific development proposals. The Building Department is responsible for the implementation and administration of regulations relating to construction and the issuance and administration of building permits to ensure compliance to regulations and protection to the residents of Fort Frances.
