Animal Control

The By-Law Enforcement Department is responsible for Animal Control within the Town’s Limits. The By-Law Enforcement Officers are also responsible for the operations & maintenance of The Town of Fort Frances Animal Shelter.

Animal Control/Shelter Fees

As per Town of Fort Frances By-Law #61/10 Schedule “A”

• Dog License:
  • Dog Spayed/Neutered = $23.50
  • Dog Unspayed/Non-Neutered = $34.20
• Replacement fee for lost license = $17.10
• Impoundment Fee for Shelter = $73.75
