45th Annual Legion Athletic Camp

Over the years we have had countless athletes from North-western Ontario - several hundred each summer - and your area attend this non-profit camp. 45th annual Legion Athletic Camp www.legionathleticcamp.com accepting registration for 11 different sports during it's six-week multi-sport international camp July-August 2004. Located at the International Peace Garden on the Manitoba North Dakota USA/Canada border.Open to school aged students. Fort Frances Canadian Bass Championship

Held every year the last weekend of July at Sorting Gap Marina in Fort Frances, this tournament boasts 120 teams, week-long entertainment and a Parade of Boats.

Sunset Country Snowmobile Club

The Sunset Country Snowmobile Club oversees the maintenance and grooming of snowmobile trails that run throughout the Rainy River District.
Fees for riding on prescribed OFSC (Ontario Federation of Snowmobilers Club) trails, the fees are (in Canadian funds):

• Before December 1st: $180.00
• After December 1st: $230.00
• 7-Day Permit: $100.00
• 1-Day Permit: $35.00
